Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread
You really find it hard to tell the difference between the people who literally want to exterminate inferior races and the people who think that's not ok? And the modern mob justice on Twitter is scary at times, but the devs said that they sat down with him and discussed it and it became clear that ...

Re: What are you listening to?
Saw 28 Days, The Superjesus and Grinspoon on the weekend, Hotter Than Hell mini festival. Only about 1,000 people, but the crowd was very much 90s style with dickheads throwing beer everywhere and smashing through everyone to get up the front. Lots of weed around too. The group in front of us had a ...

Re: The NBN thread
It is a pretty crazy turn around for them, I was with them for over a decade, first at home with my parents and then when I moved out. I always recommended them to friends and family and had a great time with their lovely support staff and generally awesome product. After they killed GON and started...

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread
I reinstalled Wolf 2 on the weekend with the intention of getting to it over the next couple of weeks. I ended up playing 9 hours over Sunday and then suddenly it ended. I didn't do much side stuff, but it felt a bit shorter than I was expecting. Absolutely amazing story moments and lots of fun havi...

Re: What are you watching?
Watched the documentary The Farthest, about the Voyager missions that NASA and the JPL carried out.
Awesome stuff, lots of people who worked directly on the project are interviewed and there's tonnes of great file footage and photos from the time.

I downloaded a bunch of games for co-op play, one of them being Titan Quest. 3 days later and I've put 13 hours in to the campaign and I'm just nearing the end of Act I of V. This is going to take a while... I forgot how fun it is and how much I liked the setting. The combination of Ancient Greece a...

My Blu-ray copy of Red Dwarf S12 is sitting on my shelf, but I haven't watched it yet because I always do it the first time with my father and sister, just like back in the 90s.
I've been so tempted to pop it in the PS4 though...

After getting a home I have the itch to get Smart Home stuff.
Might start with a Hue light bulb set and go from there.
Does the backlighting on the TV relate to what's on screen?

Re: The NBN thread
I've been pretty happy with my Optus NBN, especially after jumping from 50/20 to 100/40 and the congestion issues almost entirely disappearing. Still, our contract is up in 6 months and it never hurts to have a look around. Currently on Unlimited 100/40 at $80 a month thanks to 2 mobile plans on the...
