Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Should be interesting:
Remains of a death star, and the return of Palpatine (possibly as some sort of force spirit, or whatever he was in the Extended Universe as a part of that ship??

Re: Show us your latest purchase - February 2019

Usual price is around $1300 - but Myer has an ebay store sale for 20% off at the moment. Coupled with the ebay voucher code on said sale being good for another $200, I got it for a little over $800. https://sh-s7-live-s.legocdn.com/is/image/LEGO/75192_alt10?wid=990&hei=990&fit=constrain,1&op_sharpen...

Re: Diablo III

If you get all the items needed for the build and run it optimised from the start, I'd imagine it'll handle T13 fine. Karini adds an amazing amount of DR and almost always up if you stay mobile enough. But FB on its own though is horrible. It helps - I got lucky early on with some good drops (Etche...

Re: Diablo III

Firebirds is an odd set... it sucks for standard difficulty stuff because you rarely have the 20 or whatever it is enemies burning for you damage reduction and the instant an elite is ignited, you kill everything including the elite. At higher difficulty stuff (GR90+ now I'd say), that's when you c...

Re: Diablo III

Having fun with the Wiz this season. The Archon based default build is pretty sweet. Got into a group doing T6 (or was it T8?) rifts yesterday where at least one guy was well overgeared for it and took us through a bunch of GR55 runs. The gear drops form that and some luck with Kadala have meant tha...

Re: Diablo III

Well I got chapter 1 done... and did the D1 anniversary event while levelling. Now to get those last 20 levels and get some set gear. Chose the Wizard this season. I just love the disintegrate beam Yeah - started the Darkening event at 61ish and managed to grind out all the way to 70 while going th...

Subnautica is free on the Epic Store for the next couple of weeks, Super Meat Boy thereafter, and a new game every couple of weeks after that.

Re: Doctor Who

Chibnall did kind of warn us at season's start that the stories would all be self contained (no overarching story/enemy - from my POV that makes for some of the best Who), with nothing old being referenced all that much, making it good for newcomers. Let's hope the next season brings some sort of ov...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

I finally got rid of my Commonwealth Bank CC and savings account. No more paying account fees for me. Final step in my path to financial maturity is to switch from my retail super fund to an industry one, but I've got to get my head around the whole life insurance thing first... There are some dece...

The ABC's timeslot of 5.45 pm on TV for this is going over well. Look's like its time to crank the PVR again - the resolution on Iview isnt exactly what I'd call top-notch.

Having my first look at this in over a year. Repaired the first ship, took off, found some building type thing, repaired something, it led me to a beacon which showed me a much nicer (albeit with everything broken) ship than mine, so in the processing of fixing critical systems there.
