Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts
Thanks guys! And impressed that there's no mortgage Art. Will be sometime before I get to that status. We are taking care of the mother in law due to her cancer. She sold her crap shack in nsw for $700k and wanted to see her money be used for family (plus a super payout of $450k). Very lucky on one...

I assumed it wasn't going to be hard to find online :-p We're very happy, was on the market for a few days before we saw it and instantly put in our offer. No mortgage thanks to being funded by family so plenty of money to do things around the joint. Looking at a full wrap around garden which we'll ...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts
Surgery tomorrow morning. Daunting going through the risks which are quite major. Goes for between 8-12 hours. Surgery went well, 1 day in ICU (was told 1 week needed) and 4 days in the cardiac ward (was told 2-3 weeks needed). Now she's got a scar from sternum to just above belly button and a fixe...

Thanks guys. Just trying to keep the head above water at the moment. The joys of some video gaming seems to be keeping me distracted... Except we'll be living in the city for a few weeks (goodbye $$$) so I lose that too.

I've put on like 15kgs and am not really sleeping much anymore. I fucking hate life. Already talked to the vicpol psych team, might be having...

Although very illegal, when I worked out at a servo in Gilgandra (population 2,700) and it was not uncommon for more than one vehicle to pull up for petrol and a feed, leave their windows down and a rifle sitting on their dash.. have their feed, get in the ute and take off to go shoot some Kangaroo...

As someone who grew up in the city and now lives out country, it really is just a difference of area. It's totally normal out here to carry one, usually people have them on their belts.

Re: Show Us Your Latest Purchase - January 2018
I've got an ambilight-style setup on my pc using strip LEDs and an arduino for processing. Looks friggen neat with Netflix, cost ~$50. How difficult is it to make it work? Sounds like it would be a really neat feature. You can buy them prebuilt (lightberry - $400 odd) which seem to work better for ...

After getting a home I have the itch to get Smart Home stuff. Might start with a Hue light bulb set and go from there. Does the backlighting on the TV relate to what's on screen?
