Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

I believe we have been importing test kits or something like that. So while we are testing a huge number of people, until we are producing testing materials locally, we can't do much better. And while I'm not 100% happy with the current testing requirements, I don't think we've had many clusters of ...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

I'm unconvinced by the school lockdown, as I can't see how kids can be expected to be at home by themselves. Since they can't reasonably be by themselves, then they would like be being watched by relatives or family friends. Now unless those carers are going to self isolate with the kids, then I don...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

I don't think they have a clue how to do a lockdown.
Have we ever done anything requiring that sort of logistics before?

I did a quick search last night. Its a different strain of the same species.
You can expect it to work, but with a bit more alcohol created, a bit less rise and a slightly bitter flavour.

Re: Doctor Who

Yeah, I didn't like it either. Very heavy handed and didn't make much sense. The companions were just dragged along most of the season and didn't get to contribute much. Also left me wondering what the point of the whole season was, other than to leave people feeling confused. However, one of the ea...

Re: Novel Coronavirus

The cruise ship quarantine was a disgrace. They should have known it would just get everyone on board infected.

I spent most of the episode wondering if anything that hasn't been done many times before was going to happen.
Not a good start to the season.

This is usually a fault with the engine and graphics drivers. It sometimes doesn't load all the models and causes them to be invisible.

Yeah, I'd say its there to lower the freezing point of the solution. Sugar normally does it, so you'd need a replacement.

Maybe you could try making your own bread? It takes a bit of time with the kneading, but you can do other things while its proving or baking. And you get to decide what goes in it. I'm currently using a tracking app to record what I'm eating and what is in it. Apparently I'm not getting enough sodiu...

If we use a different sized dice it won't conflict. Or it we use a flat value. I'm also doing some back-of-my-mind pondering about something other than just another damage bonus. Rage already does bonus damage. Unfortunately we are a bit limited in what our options are, so it might end up being bonu...

No.

If you don't want to reinstall, find the Critical Rebuild program. That will restore the registry data. However, I think it rebuilds to version 1.68, so you then need to patch back to 1.69.

Re: Federal Election May 18, 2019!

I voted last week in the CBD.
I'm vaguely wondering what those "Do you know how to Vote?" people would have tried handing me if I didn't say which electorate I was in.
We were a little stunned when we exited the lift. TBH I think it was the sudden brightly coloured shirts that did it.
