Re: Game Deals, Sales & Specials!

I wish I could own a pinball machine, I love playing them but they're always $1-$2 per game and $20 doesn't get me twenty minutes :( They're so expensive though for decent tables, no point even looking unless you've got several grand to spend

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

I'd take that as a win that you're allowed to work from home now. Hope you took home all your things from work that you need still. So as of this mornings meeting, "construction has been declared an essential industry so you can all come back to the office". My response is going to be that I'm not ...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

@Disco - see if you can get any of his rants, threats, stupid opinions, etc in writing and make copies that aren't on a business computer (unless they contain genuinely sensitive business info). CYA. Did it within 5 minutes of getting home yesterday afternoon, although suddenly today we're clear to...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

That's very irresponsible of them to not be getting their staff to self-isolate if it's an option. I hear the JobSeeker Allowance is pretty decent these days. It's absolutely an option, the employer in question openly states that he doesn't believe "working from home can be effective". Unless you'r...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

It gets worse.. but eh, I CBF going into it, but lets just say my head has probably moved up the chopping block pecking order.

And you know what? I almost hope it happens, I don't want to work for these people anymore.

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

Eh, Early Access... I will let other people be the Beta testers You pay for early access, you get early access - I feel early access fatigue too, but I've been hanging out for this for so long that I don't care, as long as they work with the community like they always have I'll get my money out of ...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

Well, now I've been verbally abused and ranted at for 10 minutes because I told my employer I was concerned about Covid-19 and the fact we aren't self isolating and working from home.

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

That's one thing I'll say about the newest Starwars Movies.. I've watched the original trilogy dozens of times, and I've watched Solo a few, but all the others seem to fall into the category of watch once, then forget they exist.

Re: Bad Boys 3 "Confirmed"

I saw Vin Diesel has some new fantasy/sci fi thing called Bloodless, which might even be straight to DVD  Bloodshot... based on the comicbook character. And yeah, it's gone to VOD already. I think they had 1 week in theatrical release before all the USA cinemas were shut down. It's pretty crap...

Re: Bad Boys 3 "Confirmed"

You must have been watching a bootleg version.. Vin Diesel isn't in Bad Boys 3? Nah, I was referring to how old Vinny keeps going on about how much Fast and Furious is about being a movie about family at heart. I thought BB3 had better family drama. That last scene with Captain Conrad and his littl...

Re: Bad Boys 3 "Confirmed"

I quite enjoyed this entry... loved how they kept Reggie in and refer to that scene from BB2. I think Vin Diesel might be a bit jealous by how much this story is about family. Some of the deaths did hurt. You must have been watching a bootleg version.. Vin Diesel isn't in Bad Boys 3? I enjoyed it t...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

Still working at the office, not going to change unless mandated.

I did some numbers last night about the number of tests conducted in NSW and the population, it worked out at something like we've tested 1.00008% of the population of NSW.

I kinda thought it would be higher than 1%.

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

While it feels like most of the world has moved to working from home, the only way that's going to happen for us is if it's forced - or, we get a medical certificate so we can self isolate (Also known as, a resignation in the eyes of my employer). I think we are seriously underestimating how much it...

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID19)

We should start a pool.

$5 entry, winner picks the first person on the forum to catch COVID, if more than one person wins the pool is divided out equally minus a $10 fee for the idea (to me).

Who's in?

Frozen bread is a waste of freezer space. You can make your own.
Solid pass, for $1.50 for a loaf of bread, I'll support the local bakery
