Re: What are you watching?
I just watched the series "You" on Netflix. Weird, but good. The guy (Joe) gives off a bit of a Dexter vibe. So a bit of an anti-hero hero.

Originally wanted this because I was house sitting and I didn't want to go through the process of undoing my current monitor (which is mounted on a vesa mount at home) to move to my brothers place for this next month. But for $299, I decided to get two..

On a second viewing... that looks like the Milano.. first time I looked at it I didn't think it was and was wondering why he was "lost" in space... Also, why does everything look so crappy... the whole idea of cutting the pop in half was to make things better... more funds/everything for less people...

Just watched the first two episodes of DC's Titans. Interesting... Robin has got some issues. Below is a fight scene from the first ep, but the second ep fight is even more intense and graphic... should be an interesting run.

In this day and age it seems we aren't allowed to learn from our mistakes. We can't have old tattoos and we can't have said something in a public forum without people being offended many years later and wanting that person to suffer. FFS, why do we have prisons even? Let every criminal big or small ...

The Jack Ryan series on Amazon goes alright. Only a couple episodes in, but my goodness is it some high budget stuff. Fingers crossed the story lives up to the money they seem to have spent on it. It was quite good, except for a few minor points that I didn't like. Like when Ryan apprehended the br...

Had a blood test done this morning, which I have done fairly frequently these days - I don't know what the lady did but holy snaps, my arm is in agony - aching/throbbing and hurts to lift or move it etc. Hopefully they just grazed the inside and it's nothing to worry about. Recently I wanted to rec...

Considering in 2009 I think the max cost of Bitcoin was less then a cent when it first started, that $13 would have netted you a fortune for sure, especially if you held on to it till Dec 2017 where it sold for $20k each... but who did that? Thinking about it now after the fact is about the same as ...

Just got one of those spam solicitation type emails literally titled "[SPAM] Hello My Friend," Not entirely sure who they're targeting with that one. People who appreciate honesty but are also inexplicably trusting? I recently checked my (originally main) pop3 email which gets hammered with spam (g...

Recently added some extras to my car that I should have gotten when I purchased it in Nov last year, but didn't. Best thing is both were about $30-$40 cheaper now than if I HAD gotten it when the car was new... coolies. Door Sills https://i.imgur.com/COlt2xe.jpg Stainless Steel bumper guard. https:/...

Saw this today... it was... ok. Certainly doesn't have the intensity of the first one. He helps more people so more interactions with "bad guys" but it never felt as good as the first one and in fact the last interaction with the bad guys, especially the location just seemed ridiculous. Well it wasn...

I took my new skateboard outdoors today for the first time and did some riding on my back patio, fat people can skateboard, who knew! I saw this today... pretty good, pretty funny but I felt, especially after seeing it, the trailer has given a little too much away. Still, a very entertaining movie. There are two scenes after the credits, one just after the main credits and a small one after the final credits. Spoiler to follow, do...

I'd love to see a trailer before the next Avengers movie where they show everything they want to show of Spidey doing his thing, webslinging around the city, apprehending bad guys etc but then they digitally remove Spiderman from the footage, you know, because he is dead. Then after the next Avenger...

It's not about whether it is for charging or for data... adding USB ports to a lounge is a way to date it. I can see a future version of Antique Roadshow - and here we have a lounge from The Tensies (2010-2019) ... it even has old style electronic device charging via USB, how quaint. This was well b...

Yeah but who's got an actual FTTH connection and not some bastardization version of it? If you're in the right neighbourhood, or even on the right side of the street you're lucky enough to have it, meanwhile the rest of Aus gets screwed.

And I wanna know how they're gonna explain this... The explosion from his plane was so big that he was blown clear into the Marvel Universe where Hydra found him, revived him, cured him, turned him into an assassin super soldier and then froze him, but in early 1984 Diana Prince found out about it ...
