Re: Mass Effect Andromeda

Okily dokily, finally getting round to posting some thoughts (spoiler free). If I was to sum up my thoughts in ten points, they would be: 1. As a big Mass Effect fan (six playthroughts of the trilogy), I really enjoyed it. 2. You don't need to have played the previous trilogy, but obviously you well...

Completed Andromeda last week with about 90 hours playtime. I'll post my thoughts in the ME:A thread at some point.

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

I ended up beating Ryse: Son of Rome today. It's amazing that for a game so short, I was already so tired of playing it that I've immediately uninstalled it and will never open it up again. Glad it only cost me ~$4.50. It's on my Steam wishlist as a $5 sale game that looks pretty on Cryengine. Shou...

Re: Star Wars Battlefront II coming November 17th to PC, PS4 and Xbox One

The Death Star DLC and Rogue One DLC had game modes which switched between space battles and land battles, but with few people having the DLC it meant few opportunities to play them. A lot of people also didn't know how to fly vehicles and so hated being shoehorned in the vehicle phase. I'm dying f...

Re: Star Wars Battlefront II coming November 17th to PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Actually prone was never in Battlefront, just crouch. My biggest ask is NO MATCHMAKING. Give me a server browser. A greater variety of maps/environments. Max player count of 64. I'm sorry but 48 players doesn't feel much like a epic battlefield. No DLC which ends up fracturing a already small player...

Re: Fallout 4 - play discussion

I honestly just stick to the "most popular" mods to find the most glaring issues to fix. I occasionally search for specific mods if something crosses my mind.

Re: Show us your latest purchase - April 2017

Decided to get back into modelling, so picked up an air compressor, airbrush, paints, etc. Should get a better face mask though. The fumes are making me well...dizzy :D Can't tell from the picture, but what sort of modelling are you doing? Just doing Gundam models to get some practice air brushing....

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

I got a CD key for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare for $10. After so many open world games in a row, I'm hanging out for something linear, cinematic and quick to play.

First court day today, 2 1/2 years into my career.

Little nervous but should be a good experience.
Acting as witness I assume? Good luck, speaking from personal experience it gets...slightly easier each time ;)

Re: Star Wars Battlefront II

"Alternative facts" version of the galactic civil war hey? I had my fun with Battlefront (about 80 hours) but really would've liked the game to have lasted a bit longer with the multiplayer community. It has well and truly died in Australia; I added a few peeps who were regulars and they never play ...

Re: Fallout 4 - play discussion

What is the consensus regarding the unofficial patch? Should I install it if I'm not having problems with the game so far? Well....the rule of thumb is always backup your saves, so if the patch causes things to go pear shaped you won't lose anything. The patch involves a lot of bug fixes and optimi...

Re: Modding my gel ball shooter

Slight diversion story here, but on the weekend my partner and I were at Oz Comic-Con and we were at a stall which was selling the gel ball shooters. Some dumb fuckwit “accidentally” fired a shooter on display and hit my partner in the face. He was no more than 3 metres away and had no fucking clue...

Re: Modding my gel ball shooter

Most likely for safety "people don't freak out" reasons. Although we don't have laws like the US requiring orange tips on imitation guns, it's the sensible thing to do. In fact conventions like Supanova, Oz Comic-Con have rules requiring guns have safety markings. When I'm spray painting my P90 for ...

Oh hell yeah. I was late to the Starcraft party and struggled with the dated graphics so never ended up finishing it. Also ended up missing out on Wings of Liberty. Will definitely buy.

This BvS trailer was awesome; didn't reveal too much and sure as hell didn't show Doomsday which ruined the movie.

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

Well $80 is still good, I'm likely to get similar as well I reckon. No regrets selling all your stuff?

There's a bunch of stuff I can't sell for some reason and I'm reluctant to let go of my bills cap and buds. I'm even tempted to re-download and play one more time :)
