Re: The NBN thread

Why am I not surprised from a FTTN connection.... I guess that's what I have to look forward to 2H 2019 when it finally (apparently) hits my suburb... Nice to know that my FritzBox will need replacing since Makena said he gets better performance using a different one... UGH! My Fritz is dead, so I ...

Re: Block ads in android

I rooted the tablet with KingRoot and used the apk android version so I didn't have to use a PC. I hunted for and installed an app called AdFree and that seems to be keeping the ads at bay in Scrabble, it seems to be the version I was looking for, but just not on offer from the original website it w...

Can anyone recommend a good program/guide to install to blocks ads :?: So far I've tried block-this and DNS66, both are a fail as block-this would block everything ergo no ...

Re: Connectivity question

So... what is the version of the firmware you downgraded to?

I'm in the market for a Fritzbox! as my old Billion 7800N is slowly dying and I don't wanna have your issues too.

Re: CPU / MB / RAM upgrade time

There used to be an overclocking guide for RAM on the majorgeeks website explaining everything you need to know... though it's been awhile since I looked at it. Dunno if its still there even.

Re: New Keyboard Suggestions

When you said about quiet I looked up video's online that show testing of the sound of the various keys... in the end go into stores and try some. Something I learned when I replaced my keyboard is that I had to get used to the ergonomics of the new one, as in height, palm rest, etc

Vodafone is craptastic where I am, so is their service :!:

I cut my losses and went to Amaysim that uses the Optus network, they have been great!

Have used for both phone and Internet, but only for Internet when I was bundling my phone with Internode and everything went awry.
