Re: Minecraft
and has anyone tried the windows 10 version of minecraft, from what I've read it's still beta but would interested to hear what it's like Hi Brim :D I've tried it. If you have played the consoles versions of Minecraft it is very much that. Sadly I don't think it allows you to connect to normal Mine...

Re: Rocket League
It most definitely is cross platform! Nearly every match has PS4 players in it (you can tell by the PSY NET avatar they are assigned). You can't "create a party" across platforms though, and I think the text chat is limited for PS4 users (not that it is an issue), but PS4 is a big reason why this ga...

I've avoided it in case of that feeling. Sometimes it is better to just live with the fond memories. *fart*acegiak wrote:Did anyone else get really upset with the Abe's Oddysee "New and Tasty" HD remake? I feel like it massively cheapened a beautiful game. :/

Re: Rocket League
According to Steamdb the biggest sale it has had so far is 10% off, which is what I paid for it I think. Christmas sales won't be far off though, could get a nice discount then. I've definitely got my $20 worth out of it anyway

Add "Karting" to the end of that title and you have a really damn fun game! LBP2 also gets a rotation in my PS3 now and then. Though my PS3 is mainly used for Netflix..♥. Cupcake .♥. wrote:Little Big Planet!

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread
Really got myself quite hooked on playing Arms Race in CSGO. It's pretty random and a spammy deathmatch type mode, but for just picking up and playing in short burst in suits my desires so much more than the standard CS. Also, played a little of Portal Stories: Mel , which is a free mod for Portal 2...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts
Hopefully similar to how GON had a reader base, a forum base and some people who did both. I think I will fall under the both category here. I've set the site front page as my home page now, the TV show is definitely on my YouTube viewing list, and the forum/community will be a nice addition on tha...

Re: Fear the Walking Dead
There is only 6 eps for the season so I think they were testing the water with this one. I liked it for what its worth. THIS IS NOT THE WALKING DEAD. Or not yet. If you start watching this expecting it to be, your loss. Its more of a drama series set in the walking dead world, trying to drive chara...

Re: Minecraft
Not to be anti-gon minecraft, but I spent quite a bit of time playing on http://www.addstar.com.au/ Minecraft server (ingame address= mc.addstar.com.au), which was damn amazing. Active playtime there gradually increases the land you can claim, which you can do all by yourself with a golden shovel (w...

Re: Peripherals - Gamepads, Wheels, Flight Sticks etc.
The good thing with these is that they are PC compatible too, so you could make use of it for the Xbone and anything that grabs your interest on PC. I think it is the first time Logitech have done the G series wheels for Xbox, but they have a good history with them for PlayStation and PC, and this w...

Re: Steam Machines
This is the catch for me. I am not against the idea of getting one to have permanently attached to the TV, and the likes of the Alienware Steam Machine is appealing enough to me ...if it were to come here without a big chunk of Australia Tax on it.Scoobth wrote:For how much, and more importantly. Re: Peripherals - Gamespads, Wheels, Flight Sticks etc.
It surprised me too! I'd probably also prefer a Thrustmaster or a Fanatic, but this G29 is a pretty tempting. All the benefits of the G27 with the added bonus of the DFGT style layout, which was damn handy for navigating pit menus and stuff in iRacing.

Re: A heads up
Just a thought, it would be good to have an index page of the choice PlayAttack games servers servers that we can frequent and meet up on. GON will still have their up, there may be others but it would be good to focus what community there is left into a few choice servers. How about starting a "Co...

Peripherals - Gamepads, Wheels, Flight Sticks etc.
Show off your gear, or discuss what's on your wish-list! I'm without a wheel these days, after my old Logitech DFGT kicked the bucket, and I haven't really been keeping up with what's new on the market, but I was impressed to see a new wheel out from Logitech, the G29. And this time they even have a...
