Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

I'm not sure how anyone who has ever taken codeine can argue that its not a million times better than paracetamol. Actually it will sound weird, but I can say that. I actually take a lot of codeine (I do have a legitimate reason for it), but not for pain management. In fact, I find it terrible for ...

Re: Star Trek: Discovery

Truthfully, I wasn't sold on the first episodes of ST Discovery. Felt like a little to much polish for what it might actually be, but after watching the latest episode... WOW!, big difference and some action scenes I've never seen in a Star Trek TV show. I'll certainly be up for the rest of the seri...

So far in my 32 years of life I have determined that the number one pain a man can experience is a gall bladder attack, and the number two is gout.. I had my gall bladder out years ago and I can say if you think a gall stone is painful, wait till you experience a kidney stone! Closest thing a guy w...

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

Finished Prey the other day.. it was pretty good overall and I loved the side missions and exploring, but I wasn't too fond with the ending. One trick I did learn which is good, but I will put it in as a spoiler (and try to make it a little cryptic) When scanned, the typhon that says it has no weakn...

Well shit i'm playing the Prey demo tonight... not sure how this one slipped by me, SUPER reminiscent of the System Shock series. Will buy/10. I just purchased it and started playing through it. When anything can be an alien, I just swing wildly most of the time scared out of my wits! http://www.bi...

It takes a special kind of filmmaker "genius" to take a well-regarded book by one of the worlds biggest authors, cast those two actors and still make a shit film  In all honesty most films based on his novels never do that great. Other then The Shining , what other novel of SK's has been suc...

That was more 70's then 80's. Still, impressive, although for true 70's needed 'Livy to make it authentic.

Lucifer... I swear, you seem to have two types of purchases... items for your cat and items that could be used for dealing with a dead body.... yet those purchases look very normal. You not feeling well? ;)

Recently I got DirtRally in the Steam sales and finally got around to playing it. What amazes me is how calm my co-pilot is when reading the instructions, unlike his driver, especially when we continually fly off cliffs.... http://www.bicketybam.id.au/smileys/images/sport/smiley_rallydrive_subaru.gif

Build your own. Using an AMD Ryzen system, comparable board and ram (much much more then available in any proprietary NAS) and you will pants those pre-built NAS' with much more room to grow. So I say build it. Recently, Brian from https://blog.brianmoses.net/2017/03/diy-nas-2017-edition.html update...

I actually purchased this item last week (new media player), but being the way they are they only release them from their factory in batches. https://www.cloudmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/a500_free_wifi_dongle.png At the time, it was stated that it would be shipped out on the 26th of May (to...

What I loved about Generals was that you could basically set up a "pseudo" dedicated server as the host computer processed all the AI instructions, so I would start it up on my other computer and make that the host and just have the screen looking at a blank corner and run Ai Skirmish games that way...
