Unfortunately for DC they’ll always be compared to the MCU and the introduction of new characters without much of a backstory (playiny catchup) has impacted the movies. Justice League was generally enjoyable, but should’ve been done after another 3 years after we’ve been introduced to Flash, Aqua Man and Cyborg.

RIP Games.On.Net.

Could have done with Green Lantern too being (re)introduced before everything coming together. The shoehorning of the death of Superman in BvS and the need to address the consequences in this univers (especially in order to have some creative freedom with a solo Batman film) didn't help either.
Marvel definitely had the better approach.
I did have a chuckle with every scene that involved The Flash and Superman though.
One Youtube vid I saw did highlight that Batman in this film didn't seem as calculated as he's meant to be, nor is the style of humour they gave him as satisfying as, say, the animated DC movies where he's usually super serious and when a joke happens, you just don't expect it and it comes as a surprise.

Henry Cavill also had a bit of an uncanny valley look to him with that mo CGIed out. Couldn't put my finger on it during the movie but it clicked afterwards.

"C'mon Joss. It's not stealing if you do it from yourself." That cracked me up!
