I found some fantastic psychedelic progressive space rock bands thanks to Prog Archives.

Man their last album was pretty awesome. They went to shit for years, for me anyway. Then just smashed out an awesome album. Break the cycle is still one of my favourite albums ever.

Anywho, been a meshuggah kind of day for me. Put on their koloss album in my car before, they definitely write some interesting music!

Fuck yeah ^ Old school metallica. They put on a kick ass live show, love their older shows though.

These guys are probably my favourite Psytrance producers at the moment, Vini Vici out of Israel. Awesome production, some decent thump to it, good sound which is around equal parts progressive and Goa. They just released this new mix today and it's pretty damn good

There's something really fascinating about that album. With Meshuggah, I can never really pick exactly why I find their music so compelling, but I keep coming back for more. Koloss especially so.

Right now I'm chilling out with Puscifer's "V" Is For Vagina.

Yeah Koloss is probably my favourite meshuggah album, it grew on me big time. It's just a dark, bone crushing sort of album lol It feels a bit less technical than their previous stuff, so the instruments just seem to come through and shine a bit more.

They got a new album coming out next year, can't wait for that! More polyrhythm greatness from them lol

Anywho, listened to type o negative's world coming down at the gym today. Probably one of my favourite bands, still makes me sad their singer/bass player died
