Maybe there's one good thing to come out of Solo...

Maybe Kathleen Kennedy has finally gotten the message that we want GOOD Star Wars films... not just Star Wars films.

My main fear has been that they'll do what they did to Marvel and mass produce the hell out of it, with something like 19 films released and 10+ in production, it's a real shame that only a small handful are actually worth watching.

Found Solo a much better Star Wars movie than Rogue One, but that's not saying much.
Wish they'd put a halt to Rian Johnson's movie trilogy, not sure I want to see another one from him.

I didn't mind Solo but I wish they had never made it. Things in the movie just kinda happen and they put in the odd throwback moment but there's no real weight behind it.

The music also isn't very epic what so ever.

I'm glad the movie tanked at the box office... Lucas Film needs to try harder.

At this point I've stopped caring. They can do what ever they want with Star Wars.

Eh, screw the haters, Solo was fantastic.

I wish I could agree. I'm trying to find something to like about it, but I'm getting the same feeling with Solo as I did with X-Men Origins: Wolverine... it just feels hollow and underwhelming. It entertained at first but wears thin on a second viewing. I can rewatch Rogue One though.

If I could have wished for what I wanted it would have been a Star Wars movie every 3-5 years after Jedi. With people that just wanted to make really good movies - some set before and some set after the originals.

I know it's all about making money now but I've gone from loving the originals to thinking some of the new ones are the worst movies I've ever seen and that makes me sad (especially you Last Jedi - and how does it have a 7.2 score on IMDB when the user reviews seem an average of 1 or 2, something wrong with that).

Haven't seen Solo.

You've REALLY not seen a lot of films if you think those are some of the worst.

I guess I was exaggerating for effect but you know what I mean.

Enjoyed Solo more than any of the other Star Wars movies since the original trilogy, not saying much when you look at the prequels, but I don't know, somehow they're just missing the magic with the new stuff.

I think we can all agree on this.

For those who can find one of the newer Star Wars films to like... that's good. If not, there's always the original trilogy.
