Yeah, the first one is another one of those guilty pleasures of mine. Hopefully they make the final showdown with higher stakes. All the henchmen at the end were too easily dispatched (even though it was entertaining) and the big baddie was too easily taken down.

Some days I wish they'd do a cross over flick with Denzel, Liam Neeson, Kevin Costner and John Travolta reprising their roles from The Equalizer, Taken, 3 Days to Kill and From Paris with Love. It's like there's a cinematic universe waiting to be made there. Who would be evil enough to take them all on though?

From Paris With Love was such a fantastic movie, I was not expecting Travolta's in that, and it was great. I think the last one of his movies I watched was a straight to DVD type B grade action flick.

Oh yeah, the one where they kill his wife or something. I keep telling myself to at least check it out whilst I'm doing ironing but I keep forgetting.

Saw the trailer for this one when I saw Deadpool 2 but never heard of the original. The Equaliser is on Netflix so I reckon I'll check it out on the weekend if the weather is going to be crappy.

Feels like they're just wanting to release snippets of action scenes on Youtube now to get us pumped. No problem here with that.

Saw this today... it was... ok. Certainly doesn't have the intensity of the first one. He helps more people so more interactions with "bad guys" but it never felt as good as the first one and in fact the last interaction with the bad guys, especially the location just seemed ridiculous. Well it wasn't boring or shit, just felt a bit meh.

Cheers for the thoughts mate. Guess I'm seeing MI6 over this (assuming I make it to the movies this weekend).

Just watched this... yeah, it's a bit meh but still enjoyable. A Denzel movie never really gets bad.
