I've picked up "Tin Star", Canadian show with Tim Roth playing an alcoholic UK policeman who moves to the Canadian Rockies to be police chief in a small that that has the oil industry moving in. Pretty good so far.

Chuck Norris as a bad guy too.

Really makes you wonder how things would have turned out in the world of martial arts movies had Lee not died so young.

Lee is amazing in that movie he's upper body muscle tone is insane; funny movie at times. He would have been very special.

Agree. He's a pretty slim guy but the muscle definition he had was impressive. That combo really allowed him to have some ridiculous speed behind his moves too. He also made nunchucks cool.

It's a pity the camera man was asleep at some points and certain shots were out of focus, namely at the beginning airport/restaurant scenes.

I've seen The Way of the Dragon and Enter the Dragon quite a number of times. The Big Boss once or twice and Fists of Fury I've yet to watch all the way through. It's a pity he never got to finish Game of Death properly and instead had it butchered. The lost footage of the pagoda fight scenes is as good as we'll ever have it...

Finally started watching Archer since I wanted something fairly short and it's on Netflix. Bit slow to get going but it's reasonably amusing.

@mugsy; Lee's nunchuck work is amazing those things are so dangerous and he makes them look like toys. fist of fury is on sbs demand atm so I'll definitely watch that again. I'll have to chase down enter the dragon, though it might pop onto sbs in the next few weeks.

Yeah I enjoyed the hell out of it, I actually felt like
it wrapped the whole series up really nicely, I hope they choose to end it right there as I can't see there is any more story telling to do now that its come full circle

Yeah, it definitely wrapped up everything so nicely. Many reviews also said that they don't want to see another Creed film because of that. But Michael B Jordan is a big name now and the last scene with Rocky and Adonis was definitely solidifying the fact that Jordan will carry the series on with what ever they do. Hopefully they'll wait until they at least have a worthy story to tell.

Personally, I'd love to see a Viktor Drago story instead of him earning his respect in the Ukraine and maybe with Adonis Creed as his ally... coz, you know, the Creeds love to help former opponents.

Catching up on Season 2 of Star Trek Discovery atm... first episode was a bit average but I really enjoyed the second.

The introduction of Pike as their new captain was a good choice. He's a likeable character.

I finally watched Fist of Fury. Not the best story. But the action is top notch.

Incidentally, I've been going back through Donnie Yen's filmography. How good is this alley way fight scene from 2005?

My girlfriend has never seen a MCU movie... not one!

So I've left a HDD with with all 20 flicks release on DVD/Bluray so far for her to catch up on before watching Endgame.

I watched the first Iron Man with her and I have to say, it's held up well and is definitely one of the better superhero origin stories.

After reading about the MCU yesterday, I went to check which films I had seen in it. Turns out only 1 (Iron Man).

I recommend at least watching the Captain America trilogy. Winter Soldier is a surprisingly good movie. And Civil war was a lot of fun.

The girlfriend texted me saying she wants to start watching GoT too now. She was the one who sent me that Twitter post I put on the GoT thread.
