My new car is here!!! It arrived at the dealership today and is having some pre-delivery work done to it (window tinting, pre-delivery service and detail, floor mats fitted, etc). I've got an appointment with the bank on Monday to collect the cheque and I pick her up on Tuesday. So excite!!!!!

Because of the wait for my car? or another reason?

It will definitely be a long wait for me... the guy asked me if I'd like to go out and have a look at her, I was like "yeah, no, it will kill me to walk away and not take her with me. Probably best I don't stop in."

I was meaning due to having to wait for your car. Knowing it is sitting so close.

Also I have 2 weeks leave, so it will be a long weekend for me

I'll be working next Friday, which is really a shame.. what my employer doesn't realize is that when people are unmotivated, they work at a lower capacity despite still being paid the same.

Should have just given us the day off :D

Australia day in the middle of the week is a bit like that, We'll be in Perth from Friday til Friday so I might try and find us something fun to do on Australia day, its my daughters second birthday on Sunday, probably going to take her to AQWA.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... women.html
And it has now been reported that the 41-year-old had received four dances from two different workers at the Crazy Horse Revue, after arriving at the gentleman's club at around 10:30pm. The Advertiser claims the former Australian Idol star was said to have become 'agitated and aggressive' during the fourth dance.

'He asked to see the venue manager. He said he didn’t want the lap dance, he wanted a refund,' the newspaper's source claimed. 'He was saying, "Give my f***ing money back, you don’t know who you're f***ing with".'
This is why you shouldn't pre order anything folks. Sure a season pass for 4 dances seems like a great deal but what happens when you don't want the 4th one?

I also like hes threat that they don't know who they are fucking with, whats he going to do, say bad things about them on social media, "EVERYONE BOYCOTT THIS PLACE! I paid for 4 dances but finished after 3 and they wouldn't refund me."

I'd love to take next Friday off, but car rego is the following fortnight so I don't feel like it's a good idea.

On the plus side, the office will be almost empty so I might be able to get some stuff done in relative peace.

Pulled a USB stick out of a slot on the back of my PC and my mobo pretty much shit the bed. Computer rebooted and the bios was reset to default when it came back up. I've had an occasional bit of power trouble with those USB sockets in the past, where it wouldn't properly power an external HDD as well.

Well out of warranty and I seriously don't want to spend money on it because it's old enough that it'd mean a new CPU as well. I think I might just never touch them again and pretend everything is fine.

Find one that works somewhat reliably and use a hub? Of course doing so might kill it the rest of the way...

Whatever you do, don't go to Freemantle, the PC crowd have won there.

Last I heard the changed the fireworks back to the 26th. I imagine local businesses probably weren't to keen on having to pay public holiday rates to be open and probably not have many customers.

Fremantle Council created an event on 28th January with concerts, food trucks, etc. No fireworks.

But the local traders / associations are running their own fireworks show in Fremantle on 26th Jan, its simply not the official celebration run by the council.

IMO all it achieves is create more division. The mob is fickle and expecting to create cultural awareness by targetting Australia Day won't work.

Picking a present can be very special, it's not often as a child you get to walk into a toy store and say "I would like that!" And you get it :)
