I do the same thing, I'm still not used to stuff like that. It's hard for me to think of the cloud/internet in general as a ubiquitous and reliable thing.

Wait, OneDrive actually does something other than pop up to ask you to register when you're trying to do something else?

It does after you register... and it doesn't annoy you while you do something else then either! :-P

OneDrive works pretty well for me considering I use a Lumia phone and all my stuff is Microsoft.

Finally made the change to my Lumia 950. I like it... except that I can't set the incoming SMS alert noise without doing a hard reset... and I've already transferred all my settings - Grrr!

Hopefully insured mate?

Happens here all the time, whenever I see random tools go up for sale online it's always questionable.. one poor girl who was an apprentice carpenter rolled her car out of town, and at some point someone stopped after the accident and ransacked her tools.

Yeah, we have security cameras at home - mostly to alert us if something happens while we're at work.. I can imagine that Triple Zero call.. "I'm on the way home, someones broken into my house, better hope the cops get there before me"

I bet they took 12 hours to turn up. Meanwhile i overheard a copper talking about his house being broken into yesterday morning, by 9:30 they had processed fingerprints and had a warrant and were on the way to take the dudes door off. Chit was resolved by 10am.

Flash back 2 years to me disturbing someone coming in my front door, they lose interest as soon as i mention it was a black guy and turn up at 1pm the next day and just tell me to throw the guys tools out despite fingerprints everywhere and him hitting like 10 houses that night.

Bloody police here dont seem to give a shit unless it concerns their own.

what a joke, and to think the bloody treasurer is the member for this area (actually he probably has nbn already at his place)

Can we swap places kharis? I wanna delay moving to NBN till after the next election on the off chance Labour gets in and upgrade the roll out to FTTP.

I'm still slated for Jan-Jun 2019 which gets me stuck on HCF.

My one win for today is that the new phone updated overnight and I can set my SMS alert tone to the same Motorola one I've had for over 10yrs. Now the new phone is perfect!

Started work at 2300, had that ^^ called through at 0620, I'm on night shift and didn't end up finishing work until 0930.

Barely slept today (the scene was pretty gnarly) and now have to prepare dinner for n/s tonight. Fun times.

Is anyone else annoyed that Netflix no longer shows user ratings for the movies, just how much it matches with your previous preferences?

It'd be a lot easier to avoid a lot of the shit if I could see it was 1/5 stars..

Yeah, that shits me. A star rating is easy enough to deal with - thumbs up or thumbs down misses the distinction between extraordinary, good, and mediocre that all would get the thumbs up.

Could just tap the name into Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes on your phone or something. Not as easy, but might save some time from watching garbage.

That's what I was doing, and every movie I looked up was terribly reviewed - if I was actually paying for Netflix I'd absolutely cancel it because of this. I mean, I watch action movies, now movies that were rated 1/5 are now listed as 98% compatible, but they're shit.
