I want to actually make it to a game this year, hopefully I can at some point.

That catch by the security guard was just so easy, no fuss.

I'm going to be going the first Gabba game. Me and some other guys have been doing it for the past few years now. Couple beers at South Bank in the afternoon and then a short walk over to the stadium for the cricket. It's a really good day out.

I watched the game from the Wirra Wirra wine bar in the members section, so I didn't see a whole heap of the game :P Looked like the Strikers might sneak over the line but wasn't to be.

The sellout at the Gabba last night turned out to be a big, great day out.. dominated by small, uncomfortable seats. 5 men in a mid-sized car for a couple hours is a bit of a squeeze and certainly no room to stretch out at the match, lol. Still totally worth it.

Ok so I have now watched 2 matches... does no one want to catch a ball hit by Lynn?
I think I have seen him dropped 4 times in 2 matches, both matches where he was the difference between winning and losing.

The other good thing is the commentators, they actually have fun with each other.
It makes it so much better...

Warner scoring 100 in a session today was pretty tops.

Haha, that was an awesome innings. And Renshaw at the other end just defending and letting Warner go nuts. And now Renshaw is at 160... incredible first day really.

that was an awesome effort and great to watch; but test cricket is suffering imo from lame wickets and a 2 tier competition; India, Australia , SA and England on one page and the rest 2 pages behind.

bbl is offering tight exciting matches from a well balanced comp; last night was awesome, the game won with a six on the last ball now that was fun :D

I was hoping the stars would win that game but can't be disappointed with how well it ended.

Considering heading to the WACA tonight for the game.

Probably should have booked my tickets a few weeks ago, all sold out when I looked at lunch time. Expected given that they play like 4 games attje WACA. (I refuse to call if the furnace)

I'm annoyed I started gaming and missed that innings... his hitting is just incredible.
He should be in the bloody 1-day and T20 sides now... be interesting if they don't pick him... and why...

Despite everything else he can do, Lynn's still pretty terrible against decent spin. That's where he fell down last time he played for Australia. Although he does seem to be a bit better dealing with it this season than last. Heat V Renegades (with Hogg/Narine) on the 20th is going to be a real test for him. If the Aus team's not picked by then, idk what the international schedule is like.

Also, I love that after the Heat's terrible bowling last year someone in management decided that the best solution was more runs and signed McCullum... and then again tonight. Lost their best bowler? Better add another batsman to the line-up. They're like the Jeremy Clarkson of T20; More power will solve it.

Lynn's innings was amazing to watch, so brutal and the bowling wasn't to bad; dropped catches hurt the Scorchers though and Heat held onto some pretty tough chances.

yes, will be hard not to select Lynn for the T20.

I was going for the Heat... but not tonight...
Bloody good game though, and from a non-supporter of either team, my heart was beating hard, let alone actual supporters

For a minute there, it looked like the sixers fluffed it from an unlosable position.
