QFT... I've just had to throw away my fishing rod which I've kept for 20yrs as it was given to me by my dad. We never caught anything back then but it held sentimental value... plus a lot of dust.

Copping a fair ribbing from my darling wife and Nekosan about these purchased, but no care - I wear boots and my socks are always falling/riding down, so far I'm happy with the first image, the second is yet to arrive.

ITT: Disco buys shit socks and instead of buying new ones he buys old man garters. Bruh you look like the pedo in a childhood trauma flashback set in a 1930s workhouse. This was a perfect chance to lose all those black socks and up your sock game.

Re: Show us your latest purchase - Winter 2019

After being unmedicated for well over a decade, the house of cards has fallen... so this is my latest purchase, just to tide me over until the longer-term meds kick in which takes a few weeks. A few different anxiety disorders, panic disorder and some OCD thrown in for good measure.
Looking forward to feeling better soon, and being easier to be around.

This may not help ^'s mental health, but it was only $50 on Gumtree and I'd rate it a 9/10 for condition, just needs some new strings and it'd look brand new - the colour is nice in the flesh, but it doesn't photograph well:

For $50, there is no money to be lost so Mrs Disco can't hit me with it

Sock garters are awesome.
Don't knock them until you tried them.
I also like shirt braces. Braces, in general, are awesome.

The new ones I ordered as much more comfortable - the shirt stay / sock garter combo, the other ones were a bit snug on my calves, but these are fantastic. Can't wait for Spring/Summer when I can go back to wearing just a business shirt.Lucifer Morningstar wrote: ↑16 Jul 2019, 23:53Sock garters are awesome.
