Nah, get it now! Whatcha gonna' do with the voucher do you think?

Goddamn, Stellaris is a timesink.. continued my game at 9am this morning and only just now realised it's 1pm.

At a point now where I need to read up about how to progress in mid-game. I'm at half of my naval capacity and therefore, vastly overpowered by the Jibu Confederation.. also want to know how to start wiping out some competition (and also figure out how you expand your borders). Did get in a war but lost most of my warscore when the other species that was at war with the same aliens I was, ended up taking the territory I'd marked as my goal. Still, got a humiliation victory out of it which does wonders for my influence.

With that said, am actually now out of influence despite balancing my resources really nicely (+14 energy, +51 minerals and +9 food) so I can't take advantage of the energy surplus for expansion as I can't afford it. Given there's an achievement I think for 1,000+ mineral earnings I'm either not min-maxxing properly or I'm really still in the early stages. Probably need to invest these surpluses in my navy.

That's a pretty sweet set... my mate bought it the other day.

Not sure what I'll do with the voucher yet, I might use it to buy games I'm after and not rely as much on Steam.

Wow, Prey was sooooo much cheaper at JB... $59 AUD rather than $79 USD. Steam has moronic pricing these days.

I was just reading some stuff on Forza, looks like they fixed a lot of the PC problems and improved performance, I'm going to download it again today/tomorrow/Friday

$30! $52 for the season pass if you haven't got Blizzard Island, FH expansions in FH2 and FH3 have been some of the best DLC I've ever bought.

There's something absolutely hilarious about everyone turning to steam because it was cheaper and now it's going dramatically the opposite way. They just don't seem to grasp the concept of the Australian market.

Most store bought games come with a key and empty package anyway... so still need to redeem on Steam (Or Origin, Uplay, etc) and download anyway.
Will be a good day when it actually moves to being in AUD, so it is easily comparable.
Almost all other platforms are in AUD now, so I don't get why Steam isn't.

I figure, fuck it, I've only just worked Stellaris out, why not throw Hearts of Iron IV in the mix too?

Currently enjoying my best-ever GTA Online connectivity though so doing a few hests with friends :D

Why? Maybe it's because we're all laughing so hard I don't notice how sub-par they are!

Fuck me, FH3 is just gorgeous to look at. The Hot Wheels driving space is just off the show...

This screencap doesn't look as pretty as the game did when I took it, but it gives you a good idea of what the expansion is about!

In other news, bizarre patch for Take On Mars released.. apparently fixes some online issues and adds a new ship. That's a game I haven't put enough time into.

Looking forward to the next proper Forza game. I just can't get into this arcadey version. I wanted to get into it but it felt like the first part of the game was chock full of drifting events, which I'm shit at :P

I'm with you about drifting, hate the sport, hate the challenges. With that said... I think I've done maybe 2 ambient drifting challenges? Not sure of any championships that focus on it? I'd welcome Forza 7 if it would let me use my G25.

I'm the opposite Sathias, I don't care about mainline Forza any more.

I just want Horizon all day every day.

I have PCars and Dirt for realistic racing... Forza is much more arcadey and for shorter bursts.
I used the wheel for Horizon, but I think when I load it back up it will just be the controller this time.

I quite enjoy the road and dirt races, I just have no idea when it comes with drifting, so when I hit a few events in a row which required it, it put me off a bit.

But overall I do prefer being able to learn a track.

I've always loved a racer that lets you just drive. TDU, the unfairly maligned TDU2, The Crew, Horizon... that freedom of not having to stop or count laps is amazing.

In other news, Offworld Trading Company certainly has come a long way. Fiendishly complicated for newcomers (although nowhere near as inscrutable as HoI4 has been!)
