Humble giving away Lego The Hobbit for free for a limited time:

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/lego-the-hobbit

Full Throttle: Remastered free for limited time on GOG:

https://www.gog.com/

And the following games can be had for free from GOG Connect if you have them in Steam:

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Age of Wonders III
I have no mouth and I must scream
Trine Enchanted Edition
Shadowrun: Dragonfall- Director's Cut
Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition
Shadowrun Returns

Note that I had issues with Shadowrun Hong Kong and Age of Wonders III... GOG connect keeps saying I don't have them.

https://www.gog.com/connect

EDIT: I sorted out that issue with some games not being picked up by running the games in Steam. Unfortunately, that meant 4.6Gbs of downloads.

There are two Hero bundles (one with 10 heroes and one with 30) in Heroes of the Storm atm at 70% or 78% off. If you have a selection of heroes already, the price in gems will dynamically reduce to give you a discount on the ones you have already.

For me, there are 15 heroes between both packs that I don't have and cost of both reduces to a point where I can get both with my gems and save me 109k gold. I knew I saved up my gems for a reason!

Hitman 2 Holiday Hoarders - play 3 missions for free for next two weeks. Base game not required:

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/426051

https://store.steampowered.com/app/863550/HITMAN_2/

Sonic Humble Bundle. The $1 package is worth it for just Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (not the Transformed version... this is the first game and arguably better if you don't like the flying or boating sections of the sequel):

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/sonic-bundle

Kingslayer Bundle on Fanatical also coming to an end soon. Tempted to pick this up for Oxenfree and KOF13 but I have too many of the other games already

GOG Connect updated with the following games:
  • Descent
  • Divine Divinity
  • Dustforce DX
  • Europa Universalis: Rome Gold
  • Order of Battle: World War II
  • Panzer Corps
  • Tharsis
  • Two Worlds Epic Edition
https://www.gog.com/connect

Didn't realise that the Descent trilogy had been released on Steam. I only ever had the second game bought at a Brashs sale... now that's going back a while. Tempted to pick up the series on GOG now as there's no AU price on Steam and thus not for sale.

Until then, Super Meat Boy is still free to get and keep if you haven't gotten it.

The Colossus Bundle at Fantastical doesn't look all that bad. I have everything in Tier 3 so definitely won't be getting that but seeing what surprise games are added to Tier 2, I might pick that up in a week's time.

For fans of older game genres, Fanatical has got two interesting packs:

Brawler Bundle for $4.59 - standout items include Mortal Kombat 9 and River City Ransom Underground. I've been waiting for River City Ransom Underground to hit a good price and this is pretty good.

https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/brawler-bundle

Redout Bundle for $10.85 - a Wipeout/F-Zero type game... includes the enhanced edition plus two packs (with tracks I assume). I use to play Hi Octane on my old P90 quite a fair bit. Haven't gotten into Wipeout HD which I got for free when there was that PSN hack but I'm not on the PS3 much these days so it'll be nice to get a futuristic racer on the PC.

Cheers for your thoughts on Redout storm :)

Yeah, I've had my eye on GRIP: Combat Racing for a while. I never got around to playing Rollcage back in the day so this would have been my way of doing that on modern hardware. GRIP hasn't been on sale too much but Redout looks to be to my liking too especially since it apparently has more focus on the racing than combat. Seems like a good deal with the two extra packs. Pity it wasn't all the packs... but I'm sure there's enough there for me to enjoy for now.

Of note is that Fanatical currently has a promo where after your first bundle purchase, they'll give you a 10% off code. So I bought the $1.49 tier 1 colossus bundle first and applied 10% off to the Brawler and Redout bundles for a $1.54 discount... effectively getting me Sniper Trilogy, STALKER Clear Sky and some other game for free plus 5c off the games I really wanted.

Suppose to be worth it for the single player campaigns alone.

25th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls: Arena. So Bethesda are giving away a free copy of Morrowind:

https://elderscrolls.bethesda.net/en/tes25

True to Bethesda tradition, things are buggy as fuck atm with account creation down earlier and now the code is showing as invalid even though there's a pop up message on their own website indicating the event and the redemption code with it. Keep an eye on OzBargain for how things develop...
