Everything is personal opinion. IMO, if you enjoy them, enjoy them. For "my" money I would go with something else.

I hope you enjoy them. ;)

Went to Oz Comicon and picked this up. Just finished my first Gunpla model and I'm getting back into model building in general.

Also picked up some tactical gear for cosplay at Supanova later this year :)

Some fancy pyjamas, because I'm sick of wearing cheap ones and wanted nice warm PJ's for winter.

Splashed out and bought a pair for the little people in our lives as well, as they always get new winter PJ's for Easter:

I spent too much on an F1 team shirt, I've wanted one for years and finally decided to get one.

Heh, I bought my niece and nephew some PA PJ's for Xmas. As I kid I was always disappointed whenever I got clothes instead of toys for Xmas / birthdays. Now I've become that grown-up who buys his younger relatives clothes as presents.

I almost always follow the mantra "something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read" when buying them gifts... but Easter is always new PJ's, an Easter story book, something fun like bunny ears and then a small chocolate treat as well :)

My bestie has PA PJ's and she's been really happy with the quality. I know their parents would never spend that much on fancy PJ's for them, so I'm happy to be the aunt that spoils them :)

More of a Renault fan, and it was $60 cheaper than the red bull one :P (And nicer too, I think!), I went to buy a new Ricciardo hat, as my Toro Rosso one is a little scruffy now, but I didn't really like the ones they had available.

So ner :P

linxus wrote:^Nice. Our IT guy at work is actually suggesting I get my new laptop (work pays for them) from a company called Metabox (here in Perth). Nice plenty powerful machines (we need the grunt) that are basically gaming laptops more powerful than my current home PC.
I'm using a Metabox right now, it's quite a good machine. I got it a couple years ago, spent quite a bit for it, still holds up. Build quality is fantastic. They're really chunky, but I like it, I'd rather have something bigger with more inside it than a bloody paper thin gutless thing that seems to be all the rage.

That's a really sweet pickup, can I ask what you paid? I'll be casting my around this year for a cheap ute at some stage.. not having a vehicle I can move things around with is turning out to be a real pain in the ass, although I'd need something that wasn't a project.

I paid $3000 and included in that was a tray full of spare parts, NSW rego until May / roadworthy until November (I'll be "living" at his spare unit ). Pretty good deal, even considering the body work he needs :)

You 2 sound like your coming down with colds... think you need a few days off.
I bought lunch, chicken schnitzel roll with gravy and chips and gravy... might be regretting eating it all now.
And another Kickstarter
