I don't wanna post what I'm spending my money on today... start of the month is when I get charged interest, pay off my credit card and this month I also have rates and body corp fees. This was all time well wasn't it.

My mother recently regaled me of a tale in which she got so frustrated with the 'ol 'been in the family for 50 odd years' ancient sewing machine constantly not working and being unreliable that she shoved the whole thing off the table in frustration, whereby it lay in a broken mess on the floor for a few days until she composed herself and threw the whole thing out.

Whether a random anecdote or a hint, suffice it to say that it made Mothers Day shopping somewhat easier.
Not that I know a thing about Sewing machines mind you, this one seemed to have pretty much universal good reviews and was a decent enough price.
/shrug ;)

Not that I know anything about sewing machines either but I get the impression they've reached that pinnacle now where they can do pretty much everything for a good price.

Mountain Designs had a 30% off storewide sale so stocked up on the essentials (boots, socks, backpack, hydration pack insert, pants) for my trip to South America this December.

Pretty sure my first pair of beats are still on my garage floor where I threw them about six months ago after snapping the headband with my giant head.

I have the G-Sync version of that monitor and you do notice the difference that the sync technology (Freesync or G-Sync) brings.

:-(

Usually at this point when it's the mobo, I just get a whole new PC.

Is it a gaming PC or can you just get a $400-600 laptop for him?

Tell him a mystery man on the internet says he's a lucky boy that his mummy loves him enough to get him a gaming PC!

Reminds me of when I was the one to get my bro a PC... Celeron 400 with a Voodoo Banshee was his first one, followed by an Athlon 1700 and Geforce 3 Ti200 (the later I got two... one for my bro and one for me). Ah the memories of playing Unreal Tournament, Diablo 2, Freelancer, and various RTS games over LAN. Luckily he got a job and bought his 3rd PC himself (I looked up the parts of course). These days my bro just games over his PS4.
