Wellness Accountability 2019

Well, it's a new year which means it's time for new goals. Or at least better habits that end up sticking even if they're not what one should be optimally doing.

Thought I'd start the new year off more active than how I ended last year by jumping in the pool for a few laps. I'm gonna have to watch myself and not over extend things too soon like last year and cause further back issues.

Also need to be more diligent with my leg/calf muscle stretches that my physio has gotten me to do. Don't think I've done any of that over xmas.

I'm starting training for a half marathon in mid-April. So I'll be running ~6 days a week for the next 15 weeks, starting with a run this morning before it got too hot.

Also still got about 5kg to lose to get to a normal BMI, so I'm hoping I can continue to lose weight as the training ramps up. It's pretty hard to run a calorie deficit while getting enough to recover / fuel the runs.

my liver chick tells to stop drinking, seriously she does the blood analysis speaks in a Jedi voice charges me a monkey and then smiles at me saying alcohol and humans just don't mix; two lungs, two kidneys, two hearts, one liver... go figure... I hate her but she has a brain the size of a planet so I listen :sadfaceandalive:
