I got stuck into the Fallen Ghosts DLC... enjoying the new enemies to shoot, and actually having a point to the thermal vision.
The new jammer guys are bloody annoying. Losing your whole map is slightly hard at times...

Have completed 1 of the 3 areas though

Nice!

I'm still at the crash site. Haven't found the will to play a shooter again... think I'll be doing HOTS until the D3 necro comes out, then I'll hit that hard. Then we'll see how I feel about Season 12 for D3... might squeeze in Fallen Ghosts then.

The last bit of season pass content has been released...

This one really should have come out at the same time as Narco Road... would have helped with getting into the feel of being an undercover agent... not that it would have helped improve the gameplay.

They must be losing heaps of player numbers atm. The solo challenge reward is an actual costume we'd normally have to pay for. If the it wasn't for stupid challenges that require us to be in Extreme difficulty, I may have actually attempted it...

The Santa Muerte costume isn't that good anyway.

OK, looks like the grind is over for me for sure.

Season 3 rewards are Tier 1 boosters:

And they really dialed down the requirements for the community challenge... only 2000 shotgun kills of the yeti needed this time. Player base must have died a horrible death in the past month. Well, this was fun while it lasted.

Tried loading up a game of Ghost War (you know, coz they give out cosmetics when you participate in this stuff) and after 10min, the matchmaking times out saying there's not enough players online.

Player counter seemed to fluctuate between 52-68 players :-(

Really, they should have made this a 20v20 mode... the smaller scale multiplayer game types is dominated by Overwatch and COD.

Problem is that it has been released too long after the game.
People like me have moved on and are playing other things... like PUBG...

Also... since it is not on dedicated servers if the host leaves then you have to go through the host migration fun.

I agree they're releasing PvP too long after the game's release but it's possible to revive a game if sufficient good content is provided later. Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 is a good (if not the best) example of a later release done right and reviving the game. This PvP effort for Wildlands isn't.

Hmmmm...

I wonder if this is in the open world or PvP mode?

EDIT: It's both... You can go hunt the Predator in PvE and play as Dutch (coined the 'Predator' class) in PvP...

EDIT 2: The mission is a limited time event. Lasts until mid January.

Damn, the Predator fight is pretty tough. I even call in the Rebels for extra fire power and the fight lasts so long that the buggers are all slaughtered.

There's still about 31 days for the challenge so I'm sure I'll get around to finishing it and getting the Predator face paint.

Huh, they're still planning on supporting this game. Must be milking the existing player base through microtransactions still.

Incidentally, if anyone wants to do the Sam Fisher mission together, I'm keen... it's meant to be pretty challenging and harder than the Predator one.
