Albion Online

Post here while you're in the queue - these games definitely do not have a single-player mode.

Albion Online

Post by Brewr » 18 Feb 2016, 15:04

Its different from other mmos atleast... anyone else playing?

Still waiting on ChaosD1 to do a review of it but its technically not out yet and probably wont be well "not before August" is the best they can say.

I think they have incorporated the core mechanics wrong; the grind from having to replace your armour is too much that said you can buy from the auction house but that probably equates to more grinding.

I think im done with the beta anyway, just gonna wait for the full release.

I bought it. Im kind of finding it hard to adjust to the fact that you just do what you want essentially. I used to love UO, but it goes to show how conditioned we have become to following those "!" cookie crumbs for shinies.

I also feel a bit ripped off how mobs don't drop anything other than cash and EVERYTHING is crafted. I agree with what you said though, it is a grind for everything. Im OK with it though because ultimately it will be free to play and i will just take my time.
