G930 Issues

Just wondering if anyone has used the G930 headset and had issues with them disconnecting/reconnecting.

I've googled and looked at a few solutions but nothing seems to work (Logitech is clueless about their software).

I've got a pair but I don't have any issues like that. My guess would be either power the USB port where the receiver is is flaky, causing it to drop in and out. Try a different port directly on computer (not via a long extension cable or something else)

My pair is fine so far you could try unplugging and replugging the receiver in. I also changed something in the configure so they wouldn't time out. Let me see if I can find the setting

Was this the setting you did?

Close the logitech gaming software (shut it down).
Open the "Device_Manifest.xml", which normally is located in "C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Resources\G930\Manifest" in notepad. You might want to make a backup of the file first!
Look for the line saying "<battery turnOffInterval="900">. Change the "900" to "0".
Save the file.
Start the Logitech Gaming Software.

Fireslide/Kharis, do you both run the Receiver on USB 2.0 with the receiver plugged into it or the receiver in a different USB port to the charging dock?

yup that was it, i run the receiver on its own usb (plugged straight into the laptop) and i just use the lead for charging

I plugged the receiver directly into my mobo at one of the ports on the back. I know quite often some motherboards can't provide enough voltage across the longer extension cables for some devices to work.

Plugged my G930 into motherboard this morning, Will continue to test and *hopefully* fix my issues.

So, had it plugged into my motherboard for 2 days now and it's just constantly dropping connection and reconnecting. HALP pls? I am lost for ideas? ><

So, I'm giving up on my G930 (have fair trading sorting it out) - What do people recommend as a replacement wired headset?
