Show Us Your Latest Purchase - September 2017
Bought too much stuff recently, but what springs to mind is that I bought lots of tickets to the Geelong vs Richmond final this Friday... 2 for myself last week and then some individual tickets for some mates yesterday so we won't all be together, but at least we're all at the game

Re: Show Us Your Latest Purchase - September 2017
My computer decided to die.
Tried it with a spare PSU today, and alas, it is dead. Not sure how the graphics card is - but it's still within its 3-year warranty (1080 SC by EVGA).
Posting this post from my shitty laptop that's super slow and can barely have 3 tabs open.

Money I really didn't want to spend. Thankfully I have important things backed up to places like Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. Fuck paying when you can have multiple cloud backup things

Yeah, it sucks having to spend money on a new PC when you don't need an upgrade. Whilst my PC is over 4yrs old now, it's been probably my most solid rig ever and I hope continues chugging for while longer. I have no need to replace it. It run all the games I want to play... or do play.Lucifer Morningstar wrote: ↑09 Sep 2017, 17:23Money I really didn't want to spend. Hope your new one goes the distance.

looked at my flybuys point today and realised we have a buttload of them, because the only supermarket in town is Coles and the only place to buy mens clothes in Target Country, so I picked up these bad boys for nothing.
then I got a USB bluetooth dongle for my PC, I have a desktop mic so I don't need a gaming headset for PUBG

Decided it was time for my 2 to 3 yearly upgrade... trying to stay around the $500 to $600 mark... went a bit more this time

Nabbed one of these from Kogan mobile two days ago...

Not bad for ~$205. It'll mark the first time I've ever paid more than $100 in a year for a mobile phone service. I've always used my mobile phone sparingly... primarily for receiving calls but now that I'm on the move more, I'm gonna need the data and having unlimited calls/texts will allow me to just go about getting things done.

This computer build is getting more expensive.

Because I'm going to be a good boy:

I've tried my best with the cable management. The front looks nice, but the cables on the other side leave a bit to be desired. Sata cables are a bit bent too. Not too happy with what I had to work with, Will post a picture maybe. Still using laptop. I like to take time.

Mine is done and working now... annoyed at Ryzen for not working with early Win 10 versions... but otherwise working well.Lucifer Morningstar wrote: ↑13 Sep 2017, 19:43This computer build is getting more expensive.

JB HiFi.
I was afraid they were gonna cancel but their email confirmed the date for when money will be taken from my card and postage details.

Fair enough. I preordered from EB Games, so I had the paranoid moment where I couldn't find the confirmation email in my mail.

Re: Show Us Your Latest Purchase - September 2017
Client build.

A couple extras for my build. This should be all I need.
My graphics card apparently died when my old pc died. So I sent that back to EVGA. In the meantime, I'm contemplating whether or not to use one of my old ones or just wait for it to be repaired. Right now I'm kinda sick of fiddling with it.
4x. 2 each of different lengths. In black.

Bit worried about the length currently. I only need 2 of the cables,

The combs should come in handy for the other cables I'm using. It's odd that they don't come in the PSU cable kits they sell...
I'm not sure I want to know if my old comp died and took parts with it, or if it was just the GPU.

Bought tickets to the Richmond vs GWS game saturday night! Think I'm sitting in one of the highest rows.
Also bought some Blueberry Lemonade flavoured Pre-Workout. Thought I'd give this one a go. Always used the same one from my mates brothers company which I've liked, but it's a bit pricey. We'll see if it's worth it or not.

Paid for my SNES mini USB power adapter today... credit card expired since I put in the order so I had to provide new details for payment. Many this is taking a long time.
