Oh no wait that's a new router thingy. My second mysterious FritzBox death has prompted trying a different manufacturer. Everything works so far and an unexpected bonus - it has a "turn the LEDs off" button! Just as well, it has a LOT of status LEDs for some reason.

I've found two RRP's - $249 and $349, not sure which one is correct because it doesn't matter, I scored them for <$100!

(thankfully didn't have this 2 1/2 months ago or my slight oopsy with a knife and a defective avacado ,(soft and shrunken seed and the knife cutting straight through instead of cutting around it) ,could have been worse ,as it was I kind of cut the radial nerve and artery on my left fore finger :( )

Scored a gorgeous set of drawers - they're made of wormy chestnut and retail at Domayne for just over $1900, last one and a display model so scored it on clearance for $200. Sold our old drawers for $150, so out of pocket just $50 for these bad boys.

Thanks, we only did the floors less than 12 months ago and I still love them :D

I've almost got the place pretty well perfect, the only changes I'd like to make now are quite expensive - I'd seriously love a new kitchen at some point. Our kitchen is almost 20 years old and lacks some pretty important (in my opinion) features. There is no dishwasher/dishwasher cavity and there is no pantry, and the fridge space is too small for the style of fridge I would like. So at some point, updating the kitchen is on the wish-list as I'm sick of there always being dishes on the sink, groceries stored on the counter, etc.

Yeah, it's total bullshit... but because I know how frustrating no pantry is, one of the first things I notice in a kitchen is whether it has one or not, and you'd be amazed at the number of homes built without pantries. It's fucking stupid.

This time lady year we were apartment hunting, and the sheer number of non-functional kitchens (limited bench space, small or no pantry, impractical layout) was astounding. I got the impression that apartment living wad leave for people who eat out a lot, or at best might want to make a small meal.
.
We've stayed at serviced apartments with better kitchen facilities than some of the apartments around here.

Not exactly in the condition I would have expected it to show up in ,I would have thought it came in a proper box! , not just bubble wrapped and chucked into a carton like that... ,who'd you buy it from?

Cosplay Hero and I'd never buy anything from them again, I failed the caveat emptor rule and didn't investigate properly, but I had thought they had stock in Australia. It turns out they have 'some' stock in Australia, the rest comes from China. I ordered this on the 19th of Jan so it took almost a month to turn up and the tracking didn't work at all throughout this process - they do state in the fine print for the overseas stock 20 days on average for delivery - but it's clearly landed in Australia to them and then been repackaged and sent to me.

And another friend bought his from Hong Kong on the same day and it turned up 4 days later, so, screw Cosplay Hero.
