It's somewhere between 60 and 70 hours of television. With 2 episodes a day, it's less than a month of viewing. Though you need a few days to recover from The Red Wedding episode.

The only issue I have with watching back to back seasons is when they change actors between seasons for some characters... unless they all came from the house of black and white, it makes as much sense as Chewbacca living on Endor.

How many did they change? I know there have been 3 Mountains and I know another old guy that changed who's name escapes me.

Daario and the Three Eyed Raven are the two that stick out like a sore thumb but here's a list of recastings that may or may not stand out for some...

Nah, they're just reminding us of what's happened so far in case we've forgotten. Here's two of the reminders...

Before watching Season 8 I plan to try to find some sort of "So far in Gamer of Thrones..." video that recaps all the important stuff. Be happy if I could find one that's a couple of hours long just to refresh myself.

Aren't you on the ball. :)

I was hoping for something with actual footage but there might be a copyright issue with that. I'll check these out.

Kendrite is right, there were 3 mountains... a tall mean looking guy who competed in the kings tourney in season 1 (who chopped the head off his horse), a tall lanky dude in season 2 (overseeing the torture in Harrenhall), and then the world strongest man competitor who has played him from season 4 onwards.

Daario was the most obvious switch though, because he looked SO different to the previous guy.

I'm in the middle of re-watching it and also noticed that the guy who plays Mance Rader was a random Night's Watch guy in one episode of season 1 also :)

I don't think this spoils anything that we didn't know or expect to be coming.

But, just in case...
I was reading yesterday that the Battle of Winterfell is apparently bigger than the battle of helms deep in The Two Tower (which I gotta watch again). The battle supposedly runs the entire episode so the previous episode will probably get us up to just before the battle starts. Sounds like damn good television to me.

Hyped for this.

Anyone know how they will be released? Is it monthly, weekly, all at once?

I was late to the party and could just buy and binge watch the previous seasons.

Are they released on Google Play at the same time as everywhere else (probably my ideal way to see them)?
